When you are ready to embark on your NCA journey you’ll likely have two things in mind; going through the process in an efficient manner and gaining the knowledge and understanding to be prepared to write your barristers and solicitors exam.

I came across plenty of resources, ‘tutors’, courses on my path to completing the NCA process but from my honest experience, no source was as diligent and helpful as Vanessa Santa.

I spent time with ‘tutors’ who would spend an entire session saying “if you see something like this, cut copy paste” a written answer they provide you. The value that was provided from me from those tutors was a written answer that I can take into the exam and copy, but when it came down to actually learning concepts or having a wide scope of understanding of the law…there was none.

With Vanessa, her notes alone are so thorough that simply reading them and having them with you in the exam puts you in an optimal spot for success. She takes time with explanation of the law, caselaw, rules, sample answers and articles. Her knowledge of the law and dedication to create useful and detailed material for students is extremely evident. When I came across her actual teaching methods, (not just self studying with her notes), my understanding and even enjoyment of the law reached another level. Her teaching methods and grasp of the law is once again evident, and the way she combines real life situations with the law gives her students a great understanding of the scope of what is being taught.

She is extremely responsive on messenger, anytime I have a question, I know from the countless times before that I won’t have to wait long for a thorough and helpful response. I feel grateful to have come across Vanessa during this journey. It has not only saved me plenty of time and money, but has also prepared me for the next steps ahead be it the upcoming examinations and even practise.
